A nostalgic rosé inspired by 1950s Californian Summers

Palm Canyon Wines produce rosé in the heart of the Sonoma Valley, a major wine region in California. In the 1950s, California was a utopia for a new generation of movers and shakers embracing carefree living. The design solution is heavily influenced by ephemera to capture the spirit of this era, whilst creating a rosé that stands apart in a market oversaturated with florals and pastel tones.

The lettering and colour palette were inspired by American ice cream wrapper designs from the 50s. The distinctive photography style from the era with it’s oversaturated colours and turquoise hues directly influenced the art direction.
